Mr. Imran Ghani

Imran Ghani holds the office of the Managing Director & CEO of KSB Pumps Company Limited. He obtained his Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore, Pakistan and did his MBA from IBA – University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan. His wide, diversified and extensive professional experience is spread over a period of above 29 years where he has performed at different key positions in multicultural environments throughout the course of his career. Mr. Ghani has an exhaustive experience related to Sales, After Sales and Engineering with a special emphasis on extremely large mechanical systems. He has attended a number of leadership & management courses, workshops and seminars in Pakistan as well as abroad, including a certification from Ken Blanchard which makes him a Certified Trainer of Situational Leadership. Mr. Ghani has very steadily progressed in multiple challenging roles in various global manufacturing companies where he has successfully leveraged strategy building abilities and effectively executed methods to achieve sales and profitability targets in the related markets.

In his preceding assignment, he was Managing Director for Pakistan & Afghanistan, and Regional Business Manager for Middle East & Africa Region. His accomplishments & top performing business leadership showcased results in market development, business turnarounds and developing future leaders in Asia and the Middle East. Mr. Ghani is also serving on the Board of Directors of German Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GPCCI) and holds the position of Senior Vice President. Besides these, Mr. Ghani also holds the position of Vice President, Pakistan Foundry Association since October 2021.

Mr. Hasan ali Abdullah

Mr. Hasan ali Abdullah is Chartered Accountant and “Certified Director” from Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG). He has been associated with EFU General Insurance Ltd. since 1979 and is Managing Director & Chief Executive of the company from 2011. He is Director of Allianz EFU Health Insurance Ltd., EFU Services (Private) Ltd., Tourism Promotion Services (Pakistan) Limited (owners of Serena Hotels in Pakistan), Honorary Treasurer of Aga Khan Hospital & Medical College Foundation, Member of National Committee of Pakistan Branch of Aga Khan University Foundation Geneva. Director of Institute of Financial Markets of Pakistan. Chairman of Pakistan Insurance Institute.

He has served on the Boards, Council and Committees of various Aga Khan Development Network institutions from 1976 to 2002. He has been Director of PICG in 2011, Chairman of Insurance Association of Pakistan for the year 2008, 2010 – 11 and 2016 – 2017, Executive Committee Member of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industries for 2011 & 2017.

MR. Pervaiz Akhtar

Mr. Akhtar graduated in 1976 from University of Punjab with majors in Economics. He later attended an MBA program at School of Business and Commerce Islamabad and secured distinction in Business Policy & Strategy and Human Resource Management. He completed his professional training with Klynveld Peat Marwick Goerdeler (KPMG) and passed Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (Inter) examination in 1981. In 1989 Mr. Akhtar was awarded a USAID scholarship and he completed Petroleum Management Program at Arthur D. Little Inc Boston, U.S.A.

Mr. Akhtar is responsible for METRO’s Corporate Affairs since 2007. Being part of the senior management team, he has contributed towards successfully establishing the METRO Pakistan’s business in Pakistan. Prior to joining METRO, he served as General Manager Corporate Affairs for a Dutch Multinational Company (SHV Energy) for over 9 years. Mr. Akhtar has a versatile experience of more than 35 years of working with local and multinational companies in Pakistan. During this period, he served in senior management positions in the field of Finance, Human Resources, Procurement and Corporate Affairs.

Mr. Akhtar is a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance. He is also an independent Director on the Board of Directors of LOTTE Chemical Pakistan Limited and in June 2020 was re-elected to the Board for the third term and currently is the Chairman of the Audit Committee and Chairman of HR & Remuneration Committee.

Mr. Saquib Ahmad

Saquib Ahmad joined SAP in 2017 and is currently the Managing Director for SAP in Pakistan. He has nearly two decades of experience in the region’s IT and Telecom industries. Before joining SAP, Saquib was Director of Sales & Business Development for Oracle for Pakistan and Afghanistan. Previously, he was the Country Director, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, for Comptel. Saquib began his career with Nokia-Siemens, where he held a variety of roles, culminating in him being named Director of Sales, Middle East. He holds an MBA from the University of Management and Technology, Lahore and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication and Electronics from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.

 

Mr. Kalim Farooqui

Kalim Farooqui is the Chief Executive Officer of Solcraft (Pvt) Ltd; in addition to this, he is the Managing Director of Technology Links, Technology Links is a private limited company incorporated in 1989. For Pakistan, it exclusively represents several quality manufactures of High-tech equipment from different parts of the world, with some right from the very inception of TL. As an active member of various important Bi-Lateral Business Forums, and with some as a founding member, it has also acted to facilitate trade and investments between Pakistan and its major trading partners such as Japan, Germany, Switzerland, United Kingdom, The Netherlands, Korea and the like. We are actively involved with such Bilateral Business Forums and have been invited to be part of business delegations showcasing Pakistan overseas for both trade and investments and for them to know the potential Pakistan holds. Countries with major success stories include Japan, Switzerland and Germany where SME’s from Pakistan have successfully signed up with their counterparts as also MOU’s with potential investors. Such undertakings, over the years, has enabled the name of Technology Links to be counted amongst the responsible corporate citizens of Pakistan for its commitment to get involved and contribute towards this vital need in a developing country. Thus, endeavoring towards a stronger public-private partnership for development and in support of progressive Pakistan.

Born, raised and educated in Karachi at the Karachi Grammar School, he successfully completed his Bachelors and Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Houston, Texas.

Mr. Asif Ali Rashid

Mr. Aamer Naseer

Aamer Naseer joined the World Wide Group in 2021, as their Group Director Corporate and Business Development, and subsequently with CEI Supply Chain (Pvt.) Ltd. Aamer is a strategic, hands-on professional leveraging over three decades of experience, across multiple industries, which includes, Aviation, Public Relations, Media and Pharmaceuticals, where, he had a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to achieve long-term organizational objectives.

Before joining WWG – CEI Supply Chain (Pvt.) Ltd, Aamer, was for the last twelve years with Getz Pharma as their Director Administration and also actively involved in the organization’s Corporate Communication and Corporate Social Responsibility activities. Aamer has also extensive experience in the aviation industry, where he spent a little over ten years in the Marketing Division of Pakistan International Airlines. Additionally, he is also deeply interested in playing his part in giving back to society. During his professional assignments, set up a football academy for the underprivileged youth of Sharafi-Goth Korangi area. In the field of arts and culture, worked closely with the Karachi Literature festival organizers.

Aamer’s early schooling was in France and Italy and he holds a Bachelor’s degree.
